What can you tell me about the Grand Wagoneer's engine and drivetrain?
A 6.4L V8 comes under the hood of the all-new Grand Wagoneer. This hefty engine kicks out 471 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque for a maximum towing capacity of 10,000lbs when equipped with a tow package. The Grand Wagoneer will bring the world-class capability that Jeep is known for with three legendary four-wheel-drivetrains, Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II. All three systems give drivers full-time 4WD capability for maximum traction no matter where their travels take them. Each system utilizes a network of wheel speed sensors to track wheel spin and detect slippage. When the system detects a loss of traction, up to 100% of available torque is distributed to the axle with the most traction. Quadra-Trac I employs a single-speed transfer case, while Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II use a transfer case with two speeds, including Active 4-Low. Quadra-Drive II provides maximum capability with an electronic limited-slip rear differential.
