Its 17-kWh lithium-ion battery pack pairs with a 2.0-liter I4 DOHC direct-injection Turbo PHEV engine to deliver 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This model does not sacrifice its off-roading capabilities for fuel efficiency-in fact, it's the industry's first PHEV with a Front and Rear Locking Differential, which increases your vehicle's traction when off-roading. The waterproof battery pack enables your vehicle to drive through streams up to 31.5 inches deep.
Personalize your vehicle's fuel consumption with E-Selec driving modes. The default Hybrid Mode uses energy from the engine and electric motors for optimal horsepower and quick acceleration. Electric Mode relies solely on the car's battery, producing nearly zero tailpipe emissions. Finally, eSave Mode primarily relies on the 2.0-liter engine for power and can be modified to increase battery charge.
